We are committed to supporting all referee officials from BAME (Black, Asian & Mixed heritage Ethnicity) communities by focusing on the following areas:
Our core values are built on supporting the football refereeing family and stakeholders to drive recruitment actions and help widen access to the talent pool that exist in BAME communities to meet much needed shortfalls in the game.
Our goal is to help highlight challenges, gaps and blind-spots that impacts negatively the opportunity to recruit more BAME official in an ethical and sustainable way. Honesty, openness, loyalty and fairness are at the heart of our organisations ethos to approaching these challenges.
We believe every official who wants to just participate, develop, or move up in the refereeing pyramid should all be afforded the same fair opportunity.
We will continue to work tirelessly to drive initiatives that will encourage all BAME referees, irrespective of their dreams and objectives that they can bring their true selves to refereeing, with confidence of opportunity to dream and stay in the game, through helping them access the support, mentoring and coaching where required.
Our mission is to drive for change through action, dialogue and challenge for a visible representation of diversity of match officials at all levels of football, particularly in the professional game with more match officials needed from the BAME community that reflects what is seen on the pitch playing the game and in our society.
